INDEPENDENCE DAY : A great day and a proud moment for every Indian.
“Where Liberty dwells, there is my country“ Independence Day is an auspicious occasion for all of us and is the most important day to all the Indian citizens in the annals of Indian History. On 15th August 2024 , Gyanodaya family celebrated 76th years of Independence of the Nation from the chains of British Rule. To instill the essence of patriotism and honour our freedom fighters, the celebration was conducted with great enthusiasm and passion. The event began with an introductory speech by Dr. Garima Chourasia, Principal of GIS to teach students the real meaning of “Freedom” and it’s value. The National flag was hoisted by the guests of the day following the National Anthem which was sung with great pride. The chief guest Adv. Mahesh Patidar, Mr. Sharad Jain , president of the rotary club Neemuch and Yujvendra Singh Bhatia , member of rotary club was welcomed by Mr. Anil Chourasia, Chairman of Gyanodaya Group and Dr. Madhuri Chourasia, chancellor of Gyanodaya University. Adv. Mahesh Patidar delivered an inspirational and motivational speech to enlighten the vision of “Developed India”. Later, students contributed to the event by participating in cultural performance with full passion and eagerness. Students presented patriotic songs , yoga, parade, poems and dance. The theme of the dance performance was “Save and educate Girl Child” that brought everyone to the brink of tears. Mr. Anil Chourasia, Chairman of Gyanodaya Group addressed the assembly about this great national event and re-stated : “We are lucky, that our forefathers have given us a land of peace and contentment where we can live without fear.” There was a feeling of joy and patriotism in everyone’s mind. The entire program was a tribute to all those heroes who sacrificed their lives for the freedom of the Nation. The program was well received by the audience. The event concluded with the distribution of prizes to the meritorious students and winners of the various competitions that were held as part of the celebrations.
CAREER DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOP
On 24th August 2024, Gyanodaya University and Group of Institutes conducted a career development workshop for all the UG and PG students of the institution. The workshop was organized by Prof. Hemant Prajapati , Registrar of Gyanodaya University and Dr. Vinita Dawer, Vice-Principal of Gyanodaya college. The primary aim of workshop was the development of essential behavior for a high- performance work culture and boosting students’ employability. The introductory speech was given by Dr. Prashant Sharma, Vice-chancellor of Gyanodaya University. He stated- “The vision of Gyanodaya University is not only providing education but also to provide employment opportunities to our dear students.” The workshop was conducted with the help of Tantlum Academy, Bangalore. The speaker and guest of the day Anjali Biyani , Game Player and Facilitator of Tantlum Academy, Suman Pai and Kusum Harish guided the students about “career formation“ The workshop included sessions on soft skills, Indian knowledge system (IKS) , Interview Preparation and CV writing. They learnt various skills of leadership and teamwork , critical thinking, problem -solving , time management and stress management. “Workshops and seminars contributes to complete development of a student” said Dr Surendra Shaktawat, Principal of Balkavi Bairagi College. The students had a great time for learning through innovative games, quizzes and story- telling techniques. The session ended with a vote of thanks speech by Prof. Hemant Prajapati , Registrar of Gyanodaya University .
INDUCTION SESSION
On 8th August 2024, Gyanodaya University and Group of Institutes organized an Introduction Session for all the first year Undergraduate students. The objective of the session was to acquaint students with college environment, culture, rules and regulations and forming a bond with other students and faculty members. The introductory speech was given by Dr. Surendra Shaktawat to welcome the students to Gyanodaya family and Higher Education. Followed by motivating words of Dr. Prashant Sharma, Vice-chancellor of Gyanodaya University : Introducing new roles of the students by helping in building connections with fellow-students and management. The students got to understand the atmosphere of their new learning institution, its policies, practices, culture, rules and process. The students had an interactive session with the professors of their department. The guest of the event was Dr. Madhuri Chourasia, Chancellor of Gyanodaya University who shared her valuable experience and thoughts with students. Many activities like quizzes, puzzles, games , cross-questions were organized in which students actively participated. The students had a great time in learning about the institution with fun and indulging activities.
seminar on“ Importance of AI in Education “
Gyanodaya University conducted a seminar on 21 September 2024. The central idea of the seminar was “ Importance of AI in Education “ All the UG and PG students of Dept. of Management Studies along with Professors and HODs attended the event. The event was commenced by lightning the lamp of knowledge and wisdom. The introductory speech was given by Dr. Prashant Sharma, Group Director of the Gyanodaya University. He educated the students about the usefulness of AI in present and upcoming time in the field of education, health , defense and security, IT, etc. Prof. Hemant Prajapati, Registrar of Gyanodaya University and Dr. Vinita Dawer , Vice- principal of Institute of Management and technology welcomed the speaker of the event Asso. prof. Dr. Kalpana Agarwal. She talked about the reformation that AI bought into our lives. She creatively instilled the knowledge about CHAT GPT among students. AI has changed the way of learning and teaching. It has become a major tool for teachers, professors and tutors to enhance the learner-oriented teaching method. Dr. Kalpana also shared about multiple employment and job opportunities that AI creates in various fields. AI has the potential to revolutionize the way we learn, bringing textbooks and historical sites to life right before our eyes.
